Joe Henderson, earned his B.S. degree from Iowa State University, his M.A., from University of Phoenix, and is a certified executive coach from University of Notre Dame. He earned his black belt professional from Six Sigma Global Institute.
Joe is a professional situation manager and executive negotiator that will help you effectively manage and mediate situations in business disputes, divorce, custody, employment, and labor relations. Joe is an executive coach for the University of Utah school of medicine faculty and staff. He applies his skills to assist physicians and administrators effectively perform their duties.
Joe has over thirty-years working as an administrator for juvenile facilities in Michigan, Iowa, and Kentucky. He was an administrator for social services shelter in Utah. As a director, he worked with local, state, and federal officials during the 2004 Winter Olympics.
As a consultant with The Brown Group, he served as case consultant while performing mediation review and mediation investigations for nine years. He also mediated landlord and tenants, employee and labor and workforce services disputes. While working as the director for juvenile services, Joe mediated and negotiated peaceful outcomes between state and city officials and local community leaders.
Joe had an illustrious career at Iowa State University. He earned All-American considerations and was named two-time All-Conference and two-time team MVP. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in 1989, and was a first-round draft pick by the Birmingham Fire in 1991. Joe was a standout student athlete in track and field, named as one of Chicago’s outstanding students. He was named to the Army All-American team, and held the Illinois State record in the 200-meter dash as a sophomore.
Joe uses his extensive experience and education to educate his clients about his exclusive approach to business coaching. He emphasizes the importance of a solution-based style coupled with an assertive communication concept, which awards each client a sound foundation of effective performance.
In the past twenty years, Joe has worked with a wide range of clients, from solo entrepreneurs, medical doctors and administrators, professional athletes and company executives. In each case, he uses his coaching model to motivate and inspire his clients. Joe has enjoyed coaching couples and families over the past 8 years, and he has effectively provided mediation and dispute resolution services as well as couples coaching.
